The following subjects were arrested by the Mt. Carmel Police Department. All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court.
08/31/2016- Mt. Carmel Police arrested Valerie C. Schrader, age 36, of Mt. Carmel after she was observed in the area of 6th and Plum Street. The arresting officer knew Schrader was wanted on a Wabash County failure to appear warrant and placed her under arrest. Schrader was released from the Wabash County Jail after posting $1,000 cash bond.
Mt. Carmel Police arrested 43 year old Donald L. Barnett of Mt. Carmel after he was observed operating a 2002 BMW on a suspended driver’s license. Police initiated a vehicle stop in the 200 block of W. 12th Street where Barnett was placed under arrest. Barnett was transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was cited for driving on a suspended driver’s license and for operating a motor vehicle when the registration is suspended for no insurance. Barnett was held pending the posting of bond.
