On 09/04/2016, the Mt. Carmel Police were informed that a Smith and Wesson .22 handgun was taken from a vehicle parked in the 600 block of W. 1st Street sometime after Friday evening (09/02) and Sunday morning. The handgun was in a gray case with one unloaded magazine.
The Mt. Carmel Police are asking you to call the Wabash County Crime Stoppers at 262-HALT if you have information pertaining to this case. The Mt. Carmel Police will pay $200.00 for information leading to an arrest.
