The following subjects were arrested by the Mt. Carmel Police Department. All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
08/21/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 56 year old David A. Reed of Mt. Carmel after he was stopped by the Mt. Carmel Police. The arresting officer observed Reed operating a 1988 GMC in the 200 block of Division Street and knew Reed was driving while revoked. The arresting officer stopped Reed and placed him under arrest for driving while revoked. Reed was transported to the Wabash County Jail and held pending the posting of $150.00 cash.
Mt. Carmel Police arrested 42 year old Timothy M. Wright of Mt. Carmel after police were called to 409.5 W. 2nd Street reference a theft of utility services. Wright is accused of breaking the lock off a gas main and hooking services up to the residence. Wright was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged with theft of utility services and criminal damage to property. Wright was held pending the posting of $150.00 cash.
