MCPD arrest report 9/7 – 9/10

The following individuals were arrested by the Mt. Carmel Police Department.  All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

09/07/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 21 year old Brice C. Ellinghausen of Mt. Carmel after he was stopped for a traffic violation in the 500 block of Walnut Street.  During the traffic stop it was discovered that Ellinghausen was driving on a revoked driver’s license.  Ellinghausen was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was held pending the posting of bond.

09/08/2017- Mt. Carmel Police arrested 35 year old Jordan L. Sayge of Mt. Carmel after police observed him in the 900 block of W. 1 St Street.  The arresting officer knew Sayge was wanted on a Wabash County failure to appear warrant.  Sayge was taken into custody and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was held pending the posting of $1,000.

Mt. Carmel Police arrested 25 year old Jacob S. Wilkinson of Mt. Carmel after police were investigating a complaint that he was harassing an individual through text messaging.  During the investigation police made contact with Wilkinson and found him to be in possession of prescription drug s not prescribed to him.  Wilkinson was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged with possession of a controlled substance, intimidation, theft under $500.  Wilkinson was also cited for violation of traffic laws on a bicycle and no lamp on a bicycle.  Wilkinson is being held pending the posting of bond.

09/09/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 50 year old Michael R. Lagow of Mt. Carmel after police were called to the 1500 block of W. 3rd Street in reference to an unwanted person.  The arresting officer reported that Lagow was one of two unwanted persons.  A record check indicated that Lagow was wanted on a Wabash County violation of probation warrant.  Lagow was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he is being held pending the posting of $2,000.

Mt. Carmel Police arrested 26 year old Katherine E. Marshall of Mt. Carmel after police were called to a domestic battery in the 400 block of Market Street.  The victim advised he was attacked by the suspect while inside their residence.  Police also located drug paraphernalia and suspected narcotics were found in the residence.  Police arrested Marshall and transported her to the Wabash County Jail where she was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of controlled substance, domestic battery and she was cited for possession of cannabis.  Marshall is being held pending the posting of bond.

Mt. Carmel Police arrested 18 year old Branson R. Hall of Mt. Carmel after police responded to a domestic in the 300 block of Mulberry Street.  Hall is accused of striking a female that he is in a relationship with causing minor injuries.  Police also located a hypodermic needle in the front pocket of the suspect.  Hall was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged with domestic battery and possession of a hypodermic syringe and needle.  Hall is being held pending the posting of bond.

09/10/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 15 individuals after police were called to the 100 block of E. 8th Street reference a noise complaint.  Police arrived on scene and observed a number of individuals consuming alcohol that appeared to be under the age of 21.  Police arrested the following individuals on alcohol related charges; Destinee A. Miles (19), Chad Cwik (18), Matthew K. Burch (19), Paige R. Byrd (19), Joshua T. Thomas (19), Kyle H. Perrett (18), Miranda L. Wagner (18), Hannah A. Shirley (19), Deasia D. Outlaw (20), Brooke M. Dehosse-James (19), Dalton L. Leighty (19), Aubrey L. Sauls (19), Tramauryia M. Hunter (19) and Collin R. Matthews (18) and one 17 year old male.  All subjects were cited and givne a court date.  Police were assisted by the Wabash County Sheriff’s Office.
