The Carmi-White County baseball and softball teams both went 1-1 over the weekend as we enter the final week of the regular season.

The Bulldogs defeated Grayville on Friday 20-0, but they then fell to DuQuoin on Saturday 18-2.

The Bulldogs currently sit at 19-7 on the year, they have one more regular season game remaining on the schedule as they are set to host Herrin on Wednesday weather permitting.

The Lady Bulldogs took part in the Benton tournament that actually took place in Marion as the games were moved last minute due to wet field conditions. 

The Lady Bulldogs defeated Crab Orchard 4-0 in their first contest, but then fell to Marion in game two, 9-2. 

The Lady Bulldogs sit at 20-6 on the season, they will travel to Johnston City tomorrow.

Baseball and softball will begin regional play next week.

The Carmi-White County boys and girls track teams will be in action today as the boys travel to Fairfield and the girls travel to Harrisburg.
