Law Enforcement Investigate Threat at NCOE High School

Expect a law enforcement presence if you’re dropping kids off or sending them to school at NCOE high school today.  A social media post around 11pm last night from NCOE CUSD #3 went out to address concerns of a reported threat at the high school.  According to administration, that situation was reported and investigated by law enforcement and they determined it was not a credible threat and believe it is safe to send students to school.
The late notice has sparked outrage among some parents who say they won’t be sending their kids to school.  Many argued that they should have been notified much sooner than 11pm about the finding.  Though we haven’t confirmed, we’re told the concern surrounds a threat made and found in a bathroom at the high school and again reportedly, it was found around noon.

I would rather wait to be told until the facts are known. Premature release of the information could and most likely would have cause panic among the students and their parents.

Just wondering why police were sent to NCOE high school and grade school but not to Booth? HS students ride a bus to that school, then shuttled to NC? The county cops were NC, in addition to town cop. Seems Enfield should have had a county cop also.
