Keensburg Man Headed to Prison

 

A Keensburg man, 33 year old Johnathan M. Schrodt was sentenced to several years in prison Wednesday in White County Circuit Court.

According to White County State’s Attorney Denton Aud, Schrodt was sentenced to four years of  incarceration for possession of meth, a Class 3 felony. He will serve on year on mandatory supervised released on the meth-charge.

Schrodt was also sentenced to serve three years and ten months in the Department of Corrections on a possession of a stolen vehicle charge, a class two felony. Schrodt was on probation for the stolen vehicle charge, when he was caught with possession of methamphetamine.

Grayville Police Department was the investigating agency in both cases.

Brian Shinkle, public defender, represented Schrodt. T. Scott Webb was the presiding judge.
