The Board of Trustees of Illinois Eastern Community College District No. 529 met Tuesday night, January 17th at Frontier Community College, Fairfield, Illinois and considered and approved a resolution of intent for the issuance of Funding Bonds, for the purpose of paying claims against the District.
The Board of Trustees of Illinois Eastern Community Colleges approved bid recommendation for Lear Construction, Inc., Albion, Illinois, at a cost of $118,142.32 for construction of a Concession Stand at Frontier Community College. The Frontier College Foundation is providing the fundraiser the project.
Revisions were approved to meet new Title IX guidelines for the District’s policies on sexual harassment and preventing sexual violence.
The Board accepted the Employee Satisfaction Survey Results that showed that employees are largely satisfied with the operation of the District.
The Board approved an Affiliation Agreement for Olney Central College’s Office Careers Program with Larsson, Woodyard & Henson, with offices located in Casey, Illinois and Paris, Illinois.
Employment was approved for Karen Marks, as Nursing Instructor located at Frontier, effective August 10, 2017.
The retirement of Bo Cook, Advanced Manufacturing Instructor at Wabash Valley College was ratified effective June 1, 2017.
Next regular meeting of the Board of Trustees will be Tuesday, February 21, at 7 p.m. at Lincoln Trail College, Robinson.
