Hamilton County Sheriff Hiring
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office is looking to hire a probationary Deputy Sheriff and a part time Deputy Sheriff.
Minimum requirements include one must be 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license and a citizen of the United States. Good moral character with no felony or misdemeanor convictions or pleas involving moral turpitude. Must reside in Hamilton County, be a high school graduate or have a certificate of equivalency…and must successfully complete the hiring process through the Sheriff’s merit commission.
All interested applicants can obtain an application Monday from 8 until 4 at the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office in McLeansboro.
Applications will be due by June 30.
If hired, benefits include health, dental and vision insurance; life insurance; workers compensation; paid vacation, sick leave, compensatory hours, 15 paid holidays, personal leave, a clothing allowance and IMRF pension.
