This year’s banquet was held on March 24, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. at The Floral Hall at the White County Fairgrounds in Carmi, Illinois. The night included Entertainers from Midwest Dueling Pianos, who offered a wildly entertaining music and comedy dueling piano show for the audience of approximately 220 guests as well as a delicious dinner catered by Yesterday’s Catering and silent/live auctions.
The event was very important to The Guardian Center, raising support for the Center’s programs for children reported as abused. The guests who attended the event appeared to have a great time and were very generous throughout the evening.
Corporate sponsors, table sponsors, and community donations enabled the proceeds of the event to go directly to the children’s advocacy center programs to help children reported as abused.
Sponsors for the evening included: Carmi Kiwanis, Hale Body Shop, the City of Carmi, Brown’s Fertilizer and Chemical, Wabash General Hospital, First Mid-Illinois Bank and Trust, Botsch & Associates, White County Law Enforcement, and First United Methodist Church in Grayville. Volunteers from First Bank assisted during the meal service, auction, and clean up.
