A week ago, we told you about a Grayville man arrested after allegedly attempting to hold his phone under a bathroom stall to record a female employee at Road Ranger there. Grayville Police took possession of the man’s phone during the arrest and 49-year-old Brian Allender gave the phone’s passcode according to authorities.

That prompted a forensic examination into the cellular device. Grayville Police Chief Mason Siegel says evidence recovered from that device showed numerous illicit images involving minors, sexual activity with animals and video recordings believed to have been made inside a public restroom at Road Ranger. Investigators were also able to identify location data associated with some of those recordings. A search and arrest warrant were served Thursday at a home on East North Street in Grayville and officers seized multiple electronic devices and digital storage items believed to be relevant to the investigation. Allender was taken back into custody and faces additional charges including 4 counts of Child Pornography, a count of Sexual Conduct with an Animal, and another count of Unauthorized Video Recording.
Allender was in White County court Monday morning and remains behind bars.
The Graville PD thanked Carmi PD and the White County Sheriff’s Department for their assistance.
