Correction to this previous story. Reginald Brown received two years of conditional discharge and will serve a six-month stayed jail sentence for his charge of violation of a sex offender registration.
23-year-old Albion native, Jewell Gwaltney, pled guilty to her 2025 charge of theft less than $300.
Gwaltney was given two years of probation, a $500 fine plus $87.96 in restitution to Huck’s, and a six-month stayed jail sentence. Under the plea agreement, her other 2025 theft case was dismissed.
A first offender probation was accepted for 19-year-old Landon Kueber.
Kueber pled guilty to the charge of possession of a controlled substance. Along with the probation, he will pay a $500 fine, complete 30 hours of community service and a DUI evaluation, serve a six-month stayed jail sentence, and, it is recommended, complete treatment.
Lastly, Jemery Allen pleaded to his open charge of aggravated assault of a peace officer and was released to attend rehab. Per court records, if he fails to complete rehab, he will go directly to jail.
