Carmi Police arrested 21 year old Alexander May of Carmi following a traffic stop Thursday morning. May was pulled over on Main at 5th Street at 8:11 am and taken into custody for driving on a suspended license. He was later released from the White County Jail after posting a $150 bond.
34 year old Billy Horn of Grayville was arrested by Carmi Police on a Wabash County warrant for failure to appear after he was seen walking on 8th Street just after noon. Horn was found to be in possession of a metal cannabis smoking pipe at the time of his arrest, and was additionally charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than 10 grams of cannabis. He was transferred to the Wabash County Jail.
20 year old Kyndsey Kingery of Robinson was arrested by Carmi Police at the Murphy USA gas station at 7:24 pm on an Alabama warrant for failure to appear on a dangerous drugs charge. Kingery is being held at the White County Jail without bond.
Just before 1 am Friday, 53 year old Charles Hanmore of Mt. Vernon, Indiana was taken into custody on a White County warrant for domestic battery following a traffic stop. Hanmore was pulled over on Iris Lane and also charge with DUI and driving on a suspended license. He is being held at the White County Jail in lieu of a total bond amount of $800.
