FMH announces Heart Health Drawing Contest winners

Special recognition was recently given to Kenley Hilgeman, the overall winner of the Fairfield Memorial Hospital Heart Health Drawing Contest.  As the overall winner, she received a Wal-Mart gift card and her 6th grade classmates at Grayville Junior High School were each given a t-shirt with her design printed on it. The class celebrated her accomplishment with a pizza party hosted by FMH!

Fairfield Memorial Hospital sponsored the Heart Health drawing/coloring contest that was open to 4th-6th grade students. Each student who participated drew a picture of what they considered a “healthy heart” to be.

Pictured are Ms. Heather Taylor, Kenley Hilgeman (Overall Contest Winner from Grayville Junior High School), and Ms. Sandy Cline holding the t-shirts the class was awarded.

“We were thrilled by the number of entries we received from all the participating schools. In addition, the creativity among these students was wonderful.  There is a lot of talent and vision among these students. We welcome anyone who would like to view these beautiful drawings and designs to visit our Facebook page where we have posted all the entries, along with the winners,” stated Katherine Bunting-Williams, Ph.D., FMH CEO.
