An Enfield woman has bonded out of the White County Jail after being arrested on a White County Warrant Sunday. At around 7 p.m. Deputy Michael Brown with the WCSD went to an address on Main Street in Enfield in reference to a warrant check on 68 year old Vonnie Farris. Brown along with NC Officer Cody Jones made contact with Farris and explained the warrant. Farris was wanted for Cruel Treatment of an Animal (shooting a dog with a paint ball gun)/disorderly conduct.
Farris was placed under arrest and transported to the White County Jail where she paid $250 plus a $20 booking fee and was released.

July 10, 2023 at 2:22 pm$275 to get out for animal cruelty? Shoot her a@@ with that paint ball gun in return! What a low life. There is no excuse for animal cruelty. Poor dog, I hope she is never allowed to have animals. That’s just sick.
