“Farce of Nature” Opens This Week at WVC’s Brubeck Theatre

Theatre goers to Wabash Valley College’s Brubeck Theatre are in store for an evening/afternoon of non-stop hilarity in the Southern-fried farce “Farce of Nature,” opening this Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. in the Brubeck Theatre in the Brubeck Arts Center on the campus of Wabash Valley College. Performances will also be at 7:30 on Saturday evening with a 1:30 p.m. matinee performance on Sunday.img_2298-abi-anderson-tyler-c-wood

Cast members under the direction of Artistic Director Lynn Kinkade, assisted by Colette Grigsby as Assistant to the Director, have been rehearsing for the past several weeks in preparation for this fall’s community theatre production by playwrights Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope, and Jamie Wooten.

The play highlights one day in the life of the Wilburn family of Mayhew, Arkansas. By the delightfully chaotic climax of this one outrageous day, love blossoms, truths are revealed, and the lives of all – family, guests, and gangsters alike – change in incredible and surprising ways.img_2419-carolyn-highhouse-and-chuck-johnson
