Family Fun Fest
It’s time for the Spring Family Fun Fest.
This year, My Five Senses is the theme for the special gathering set for 3:30 to 6:30 Thursday (apr. 25) at Washington Attendance Center.
The Carmi Pre-K along with several other community agencies will be a part of the annual Family Fun Fest. This year’s event will include a Pre-K Art Show.
The event is designed for young children up to the age of eight and their parents, it features information about services and opportunities from the many organizations participating in this year’s gathering. The purpose is to offer a format in which families can enjoy themselves, while learning the importance of early education, family togetherness and becoming aware of social and educational assistance available to them.
There will be animals, train rides, arts and crafts, games, face painting, prizes and a whole lot more.
Families can come and go or stay for the entire time. There will be hot dogs, chips, cookie and a drink available to families from 4:30 until 6, all for 50 cents. There will be hourly prize giveaways.
