With Illinois State County Fair Queen Kelsi Kessler heading out to make visits at county fairs throughout the state, it’s time to start planning for who will follow in her footsteps at the local county fair. Pageant coordinator Hannah Sailer is reminding local young ladies that an informational meeting is coming up this coming Monday at the White County Fairgrounds floral hall. At that meeting, Sailer will go over plans for the upcoming White County Fair pageant to be held on August 9th to kick off the week long event. She says she’ll also have all the necessary forms and applications available at the meeting. If you know a young lady interested in participating, encourage her to attend. If unable, Sailer says she’ll make the paperwork available for download through the Miss White County Fair Queen facebook page. We’ll also have the forms available here on our website next week.
