Egyptian Health Department Reports 5 New COVID-19 Cases Tuesday

Egyptian Health Department was notified Tuesday of 5 Southeastern Illinois residents who have tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19). The individuals include:

 

  • Saline County (4)
    • 1 male under the age of 10
    • 1 female in her teens
    • 1 male in his teens
    • 1 female in her 60’s

 

  • White County (1)
    • 1 female; age demographics unknown- case status in progress

 

To date, Saline County has had a total of 2,465 lab confirmed positives, including 47 deaths, 2,284 have recovered, White County has had a total of 1,704 lab-confirmed positives, including 26 deaths, 1, 577 have recovered, and Gallatin County has a total of 478 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including 3 deaths, 453 have recovered. The Illinois Department of Public Health, their healthcare provider, and the individuals have all been notified and are monitoring the situation.

Please note: If you have received results for a COVID-19 Rapid Test– π™‹π™Šπ™Žπ™„π™π™„π™‘π™€ or π™‰π™€π™‚π˜Όπ™π™„π™‘π™€– you should still π™„π™Žπ™Šπ™‡π˜Όπ™π™€ until you receive your lab-confirmed results. IDPH announced that Illinois had a total of 1,577 new confirmed cases and 47 additional deaths. Bringing the total of 1,189,416Β confirmed cases and 20,583Β deaths in Illinois.
