Donations Given to White County Ambulance Service

Ambulance Director Adam Allen is excited to share that the White County Ambulance Service is now a certified and approved Red Cross training center.

They are now able to provide classes to any individuals who would like to have certifications, including:

“We can basically teach anything up to the paramedic level. So, PALS, ACLS, CPRs, blood-borne pathogens, anything up to the paramedic level. So we’re one of the few that will be able to do the paramedic-type classes in the area now.”

Books, equipment, training, and other materials were needed to be Red Cross approved, a cost totaling $7,000. Thankfully, a group made a gracious donation to cover that cost, along with another major contribution to the White County Ambulance, $97,000.

The donation of $97,000 has not only paid off the ambulance loan but also significantly boosted the operations of the Ambulance Service here in White County. This is a testament to the contribution’s impact.

Allen did not share the name of the generous benefactor, but he did share how thankful and helpful the group has been to the White County Ambulance Service and White County in general.

The White County Board will write a letter of appreciation to the group and emphasize their gratitude.
