Day of Mourning
The Receiving in God Ministries at 215 Industrial Drive, here in Carmi will be the location for a special Day of Mourning tomorrow, Saturday.
The special event will begin at 11:30 and continue through about 3 Saturday afternoon.
Ashleigh Turner invited area residents to join the event to pray and repent, along with a livestream of the national Day of Mourning event from New York.
Organizers of the event explained the reason for the gathering, “61 million lives and 46 years is too long for the church to stay silent on the issue of abortion. Feb. 23, we are ending our apathy and taking a day to mourn the unborn.
