
The Carmi-White County Wrestling team traveled to Marion on Saturday for the Marion Duels Tournament.
Carmi went 2-2 in Pool Play, defeating Goreville 65-6 and Sparta 66-24 before falling to Carbondale 53-24 and Fort Campbell (KY) 70-12.
The Bulldogs then went on to defeat Kennett (MO) 60-24, and Mt. Vernon (IL) 48-36.
In their final match against Mt. Vernon, the Bulldogs pulled off 7 straight wins to pull off the come-from-behind victory.
Carmi finished the day in 13th place out of 21 teams, many of which being 2A schools and schools from Kentucky and Missouri.
Many Bulldog wrestlers picked up multiple wins on the day.
