A blankie won’t save you from law enforcement when you’ve broken the law. 31 year old Logan Fisk of Chandler, Indiana learned that lesson the hard way Tuesday afternoon. Carmi Police and County Sheriff’s deputies responded to an apartment at 106 East Robinson around 12:30 on a report that a wanted individual was on the premises.
A report from the Carmi PD indicates officers made verbal contact with Fisk and he refused to open the door. After receiving permission from the renter, officers gained access through a window and found Fisk hiding under a blanket. He was subsequently arrested on a warrant for possession of meth. Near Fisk was his backpack containing several small bags, one of which had a small amount of meth inside resulting in Fisk now facing an additional count of possession of the drug.
Fisk now has a new blanket to hide under in his cell at the White County Jail where he’s lodged on $2,000 bond.
