Chamber Executive Director Shana Northcott has reported a successful Chamber Golf Outing. While official numbers weren’t released, Northcott wanted to send out thanks to the Carmi Country Club for hosting the event and the golfers and especially sponsors for their support. All proceeds from the event go to help fund the CWCHS Scholarship, Teacher Grants and the White County CEO Program which is launching another year.
1st place went to Travis Williams, Alex Nelson, Andy Nelson and Keaton Bradshaw. The 2nd place team consisted of Ryan Mitchell, Marc Leighty, Jara Mitchell and her father, Jeff Fetcho. 3rd place was secured by a team made up of Rick Northcott, Bryce Northcott, Trent Williams and Neal Northcott.
Ryan Mitchell powered in the longest men’s drive. Sandra Bryant fired the longest women’s drive. Damon Goad zeroed in and sunk the longest putt on the day while a shot off the club of Chuck Ashford was credited with closest to the pin honors.
