37 year old April D Spoonemore of Carmi was taken into custody by the Carmi Police Department just before 11am Tuesday morning on a White County warrant for theft over $500.
Spoonemore was arrested at a residence at 821 N Fourth Street. Upon arrest, officers found a small amount of marijuana in her pocket and additionally charged her with possession of less than 2.5 grams of cannabis.
Spoonemore was transported to the White County Jail and is being held on a $2500 bond for the warrant and an additional $150 bond on the possession charge.
