The Carmi Police Department arrested 50 year old Ronald Eckiss of Carmi on a Wabash County warrant after answering a call about a criminal complaint on Monday afternoon. Officers arrived at a residence on Sycamore Street after the resident asked police to remove Eckiss from the property. A records check confirmed the warrant and Eckiss was taken into custody at 3pm. Eckiss was transported to the White County Jail and was later released.
An Eldorado woman was arrested following a traffic stop by Carmi Police Monday night. Just before 8:30pm, 28 year old Lacey Woolard was taken into custody after being stopped for failing to use a turn signal. Woolard was found to be driving on a suspended license and driving a vehicle with an expired out of state registration. She is being held at the White County Jail pending a bond post.
