A search of his vehicle turned up a container with pipes, straws, and a digital scale as well as several baggies that tested positive for methamphetamine. Fromm was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving on a suspended license. He is being held at the White County Jail without bond pending a court hearing.35 year old Charles Oberlender of Maunie was arrested by Carmi Police Friday night for DUI. Oberlender was pulled over on Main Street at Oak Street at 11:40 pm. Additionally, he was charged with improper lane usage and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Oberlender was transported to the White County Jail, and was later released after posting a $100 bond.42 year old Nathan Fowler of Norris City was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop in the Walmart parking lot Sunday morning by Carmi Police. Fowler was taken into custody at 10:22 am, and was also found to be wanted on a Hamilton County warrant for failure to appear. Fowler was transported to the White County Jail, and was later released after posting a total bond amount of $675.SHARE NOWShare This Page
