29 year old Shania Buchanan of Burnt Prairie surrendered herself to Carmi Police to answer an out of county warrant Thursday morning. Buchanan was taken into custody at 11:45am in the lobby of the Police Department and transferred to the White County Jail, where she later was released after posting a $186.00 bond.
41 year old Mark Keller of Carmi was arrested by city police following a traffic stop at the intersection of Robinson and Walnut Streets for driving on a suspended license. Keller was taken into custody at 12:44pm and released after posting a $150 bond at the scene.
Just after 4pm, 47 year old Johnny Celestino of Carmi surrendered himself at the Carmi Police Department office to answer a White County warrant for aggravated assault and disorderly conduct. Celestino was taken into custody and processed at the White County Jail, where he was released after posting a $150 bond.
30 year old Timothy Schneider of Carmi was arrested by Carmi Police at his Sycamore Street residence at 7:43 pm Thursday on a warrant from White County. Schneider was transported to the White County Jail and is being held on a $500 bond.
