28 year old Tara Johnson of Carmi was arrested by Carmi Police following a traffic stop Monday afternoon.
Just before 5 pm, Johnson was pulled over at the intersection of 6th and Elm Streets and taken into custody for driving on a suspended license. Johnson was also cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
Johnson was transported to the White County Jail, and later released after posting a $150 bond.
