The Carmi Police Department is investigating the theft of a wallet from a Carmi home. Winnifer Pierce reported that the black and leopard print wallet was last seen at 10:30am on Tuesday in her apartment on Stewart Street. She became aware of it missing around 3pm Wednesday and filed the report at 5pm.
