The Carmi Police Department arrested 28 year old Kevin Rector early Saturday morning on charges of domestic battery and interfering with a domestic violence report.
Rector was taken into custody at 4:13 am at his residence on 8th Street and transported to the White County Jail and was later released after posting a $500 bond.
20 year old Joshua Farris of Carmi was arrested by Carmi Police Saturday on charges of domestic battery, battery, and criminal damage to property after a call was received about a domestic disturbance.
Farris was arrested at 9:10 am at his residence on 9th Street and is being held at the White County Jail without bail pending a court hearing.
Sunday afternoon, Carmi Police received a call about a shoplifter at the Dollar General. When officers arrived just after 4:30 pm, they arrested 27 year old Jessica Bilotta of Mt. Carmel on a charge of theft. Bilotta was taken to the White County and later released after posting a $150 bond.
