At 11:31 am Monday, Carmi officers responded to a traffic accident on Main Street in front of the Dairy Queen.  Witnesses said that Michael Quillman of Evansville, Indiana was driving a motorcycle west on Main when he collided with a car driven by Phyllis Giagnoni of Crossville.  A passenger on the motorcycle, Janelle Jennings of Carmi had to be airlifted to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

Just after 1pm, Carmi Police arrested two male juveniles for disorderly conduct at Carmi-White County High School.  The 15 and 16 year olds took part in a fight that occurred during the lunch hour on a parking lot north of the school.

At 7:30 pm Monday, Carmi Police arrested 37 year old Andrew McKenzie of Carmi at his residence on an Edwards County warrant for failure to appear on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.  McKenzie was transported to the White County Jail, and was later released after posting a $200 bond.
