Carmi Police Bust Driver for DUI

Carmi Police arrested 38 year old Haven A. Kirkpatrick of 502 Montgomery Circles, Carmi at Rock Bottom Convenience Store around 8:15 Tuesday night.

According to the incident report released by Carmi Chief of Police Jason Carter, Kirkpatrick was charged with DUI of alcohol and DUI with a blood alcohol content of .08 or more.

She was transported to the City County Jail for processing, where she later posted $300 cash bond and a $20 booking fee prior to be released from custody.

Shortly after 8, local authorities arrested Jessica L. Sutton, 38 of 604 Sycamore Street, Carmi on an outstanding warrant out of Wayne County for failure to appear.

Bond was set at $500 and Sutton remained in custody early Wednesday morning.
