Friday morning, 34 year old Arturo Aguilar of Indianapolis, IN surrendered at the Carmi Police Department on a White County warrant for illegal display of a license plate. Aguilar was processed at the White County Jail, and was later released after posting a $500 bond.
Friday night, Carmi Police arrested 33 year old Tiffany Weidenburner of Carmi following a traffic stop at the intersection of Fackney and 8th Streets. Weidenburner was taken into custody at 11:56 pm on a charge of unlawful use of registration, and was also cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Weidneburner was released from the White County Jail after posting a $150 bond.
On Sunday night, Carmi officers took a report of stolen property. Stella Oxford told officers at 11:21 pm that someone had stolen a blue LG cell phone from her at Pundrakes.
