Carmi Police arrested 27 year old Matthew Gaudern of Carmi following a traffic stop Monday night. Gaudern was pulled over at the intersection of 3rd and Stewart Streets just after 9pm, and taken into custody for driving on a revoked license. During a search, Gaudern was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the White County Jail and is being held without bond pending a court hearing.
City Police also arrested 29 year old Jesus Valle Gasca of Harrisburg following a traffic stop Monday night. Gasca was stopped at the intersection of Main and College Streets at 10:21pm and taken into custody for driving on a suspended license. Gasca was taken to the White County Jail and was released after posting a $150 bond.
