The Carmi Police Department arrested 35 year old Emilio Diaz of Terra Haute, Indiana on Wednesday morning following a traffic stop. Diaz was originally stopped in the Casey’s General Store parking lot for speeding in a school zone, but was taken into custody after it was found Diaz did not have a valid driver’s license. Diaz was transported to the White County Jail, where he posted a $150 bond and was later released.
