The Carmi Police Department arrested a 13 year old male juvenile Wednesday afternoon on a charge of disorderly conduct. The arrest occurred just after 2pm on Main Street near the theater. The juvenile was processed at the White County Jail and released into the custody of a relative.
25 year old John Ealey of Carmi turned himself into the Police Department at 10pm to answer a White County warrant for domestic battery on Wednesday. Ealey was booked into the White County Jail where he remains pending the post of a $750 cash bond.
At 11:30pm, police answered a call about a domestic incident at 1704 Oak Street. There, officers found 48 year old Aaron R Pearson who admitted that he had struck a female victim in the face and was ready to go to jail. Pearson was booked into the White County Jail and is being held pending a court hearing.
