Carmi Police and White County Sheriffs Reports for Monday, June 21, 2021

A Clay county man was arrested Saturday on a warrant.  Troy Grove was arrested at Burrells Woods on a warrant for possession of meth less than 5 grams.  He bonded out on a $1000 bond plus a $75 FTA fee

 

A Carmi man was arrested Saturday on a Wabash County warrant for failure to appear in court.  At 7:19 Saturday evening a Carmi officer observed William Moore walking on Oak Street in Carmi near 10th street.  The officer knew Moore had a Wabash County warrant for his arrest. Moore was taken into custody without incident and transported to the county jail

 

A Maunie man was arrested for driving on a revoked driver’s license.  Stanley Griffin was stopped on Epworth Rd. at 9:30am on Saturday the 19th.  He was stopped due to two equipment violations.  Griffin was transported to the White County Jail where he posted $250 cash and was released

 

A boat was reported missing on Cherry Street.  On Saturday afternoon, John Beaver reported his boat, motor, and trailer were missing from an address on Cherry Street in Carmi.  Mr. Beaver stated his green 1999 12 ft. OMC Sea Nymph, 5HP 1986 Mariner outboard, and yellow/red 1984 Loadstar trailer were taken sometime over the last two weeks.  Mr. Beaver signed a complaint for felony theft.
