A Carmi man is dead following a single vehicle accident Sunday morning in Laclede Count, Missouri. According to Missouri Highway Patrol, 32 year old Adam Hoover, originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma was eastbound on Interstate 44 about 13 miles west of Lebanon when the accident happened.
The crash report indicates it was about 10 minutes before 10am when Hoover’s 2003 Ford Explorer travelled off the left side of the roadway. It appears Hoover overcorrected causing the SUV to overturn, ejecting Hoover in the process.
He was pronounced dead on scene by the Laclede County Coroner at 10:35am. Hoover wasn’t wearing his seatbelt according to the incident report.
