In White County Court on Monday, 31 year old Andrew McCauley of Carmi was sentenced to three years in prison on a charge of theft according to States Attorney Denton Aud.
Following incarceration, McCauley will be under mandatory supervised release for one year, and he was ordered to pay all mandatory fines, fees, costs, and assessments, in addition to making restitution to his victim.
The Carmi Police Department investigated the case.
