Carmi Police arrested 24 year old Sean Spurlock of Carmi following a traffic stop on Tuesday night. Spurlock was stopped at the intersection of Burrell and Stewart Streets at 9:23 pm for not having active tail lights.
Spurlock was taken into custody for driving on a suspended license and for being in possession of a controlled substance. He was also cited for operation of an uninsured motor vehicle, and for driving without tail lights.
Spurlock was transported to the White County Jail, and is being held on a $150 bond.
