Carmi Police responded to a 911 call early Wednesday morning and arrested a Carmi man on a charge of domestic battery. Officers arrived at 200 Commerce Street at 2:35 am and took 25 year old Joseph Buttry into custody. Buttry was transported to the White County Jail, where he is being held without bond pending a court appearance.
