Carmi Police arrested 37 year old Arturo Escoto Aponte of Carmi Wednesday evening at his Church Street residence on a White County warrant for permitting truancy.
Aponte was taken into custody at 6:30 pm and is being held at the White County Jail in lieu of a $150 bond.
