Friday morning, Carmi Police arrested 32 year old Michael Anthony Smith of Carmi at his residence on First Street on charges of aggravated battery and on a White County warrant. Smith was taken into custody at 11:39 am and was transported to the White County Jail, where he is being held in lieu of a $3150 combined bond amount.
At 8:14 pm Friday, Carmi Police arrested 21 year old Casey Wright of Fairfield at Pundrakes on a Jefferson County warrant for failure to appear. Wright was taken to the White County Jail and later released after posting a $150 bond.
Carmi officers arrested 29 year old Joseph James of Carmi at the intersection of 7th and Elm Streets Friday at 11:07 pm on a White County warrant. James was later released from the White County Jail after posting a $150 bond.
Early Saturday morning, Carmi Police responded to a 911 call about a domestic dispute. Officers arrived at 2:58 am to an apartment on 6th Street and arrested 56 year old Tammy Brewster on charges of domestic battery and disorderly conduct. Brewster is being held at the White County Jail pending a court hearing.
45 year old Thaddeus Pinkney was arrested at his Sycamore Street residence at 5:30 pm Saturday on a charge of domestic battery by Carmi Police. Pinkney is being held at the White County Jail without bond pending a court hearing.
On Sunday, Carmi Police arrested 37 year old Anthony Dunning of Thompsonville following a traffic stop on Main Street. Dunning was taken into custody at 1:32 pm on a Hamilton County warrant. He was also charged with driving on a suspended license and driving an uninsured motor vehicle. Dunning was released from the White County Jail after posting a $450 total bond amount.
