Boaz, Morrill Jr. Back Behind Bars in White County on Escape Warrants

A pair of Carmi fugitives are back in the White County Jail following extradition from St. Clair.  44-year-old Crystal Boaz and 48-year-old Bobby Morrill Jr were returned to the White County Jail according to Carmi Police on Wednesday afternoon.  Both were arrested on several charges back in November at a Railroad Avenue home as part of a three address drug round up.

It’s not clear how the pair ended up in St. Clair County Jail.  According to online court records, Morrill was to be released to rehab in early December.  On February 2nd, entry of a new case that returns no results was posted and then yesterday (February 18th), the original case shows the States Attorney declined to prosecute.  Boaz’s case shows no plea from November and no history on the case.  The Carmi Police report indicates both have been jailed on White County Warrants for Escape.  Boaz’s warrant also includes a Failure to Appear charge.
