Big Ticket Thefts Reported over the Weekend to Sheriff’s Authorities

White County Sheriff’s authorities have received two fresh accounts of theft from over the weekend.  Late Saturday afternoon, rural Grayville resident Teresa Garman notified Sheriff’s authorities that sometime between June 30th and July 6th, she believes someone forced entry to a shed at her residence and stole two kayaks along with 4 sets of paddles.  In addition, Garman says the perp(s) also took a gray Plano toolbox full of new hand tools.  The kayaks are described as Sundolphin models.  One is a green ten footer and the other is blue and 8 feet long.  The kayaks do have registration numbers from 2017 on them and have the last name “Garman” also written on the front top.  If you believe you see these stolen items, you’re urged to call the White County Sheriff’s Department at 382 – 5321.

Sunday morning just before 10:30, a Sheriff’s Deputy spoke with Enfield resident Alicia Pearce.  She says sometime between 10pm Saturday night and Sunday morning, someone stole a 2002 Honda Rubicon 4 wheeler.  The ATV is described as a hunter green 4×4 and Pearce says 3 of the tires go flat regularly.  She wasn’t sure of the specific size and didn’t immediately know the VIN number of the vehicle.  Sheriff’s authorities are hoping the victim can get additional details that may aid in locating the stolen property.
