A 22 year old Benton man, Brendan L. Schell, was arrested by Carmi Police Tuesday night around 9:40 PM on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle following a traffic stop near the intersection of Commerce Street at College Avenue in Carmi. He remains held at the White County Jail as of Wednesday morning.
