Brian Allender in custody of Grayville Police Chief Mason Siegel
Back in April, Grayville resident Brian Allender was arrested after allegedly attempting to hold his phone under a bathroom stall to record a female employee at the Road Ranger. Once Grayville Police took possession of his phone, it wasn’t long before Allender was given additional charges.
A forensic examination of his cellular device recovered numerous illicit images involving minors, sexual activity with animals, and additional video recordings believed to have been made inside a public restroom at the Road Ranger. Allender has since been awaiting his pre-trial hearing, which took place today.

During court on Monday, Allender entered an open plea to Class X and Class 4 felony charges. The Class 4 felony is one count of Unauthorized Videotaping. In his other case, he pled guilty to one Class X felony count of Child Sexual Abuse Material. The Honorable Judge T. Scott Webb advised Allender of the possible penalties on both felony charges and instructed the White County Probation Department to conduct a pre-sentencing investigation and a sex offender evaluation.
Allender’s sentencing hearing will be held on August 31 at 1:30 pm. With the plea deal, Allender’s other charges will be dismissed: three other counts of Child Sexual Abuse Material, Unauthorized Videotaping, and Bestiality.
