Monday night, Carmi police arrested 43 year old Melissa Haycraft of Albion following a traffic stop at the intersection of Fackney and Seventh Streets on several charges.
Haycraft was pulled over just before 6pm and taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license suspended, and operation of an uninsured motor vehicle.
Haycraft was taken to the White County Jail and is being held without bond pending a court hearing.
