Carmi PD Arrest Two on Body Attachment Warrants Tuesday

A pair of Carmi men were arrested on body attachment warrants Tuesday.  Carmi Police picked up 52-year-old Louis Hankins at his North Church apartment just before 10am.  After failing to appear or pay following being found guilty of ordinance violations for a Nuisance/Order to Abate in May, the warrant was issued last week and served Tuesday morning.  Hankins remains jailed and will be due back in court on September 4th.

 

Just before 1pm, Carmi Police took 65-year-old Floyd Blake into custody at his Fackney Street residence.  Blake failed to appear in White County court in June and July after he was found guilty of ordinance violations in May of a dog at large.  The warrant was issued August 7th and served on Tuesday.  Blake bonded out according to police affidavit will be due back in White County court on September 4th.
